Our prices are very affordable

& we we will match any local advertised price for the same services & deduct 10% of the difference.

Weddings...$160.00 ($140.00 w/no rehearsal)All Wedding services at the $140-$160 rate can be held at the Humboldt County location of your choosing between McKinleyville & Fortuna (including Ferndale). All other Humboldt County locations will be charged at a slightly higher rate due to mileage - normally $10-$20. Please use the contact form on page 5 to inquire about out of county rates.

We also officiate Vow Renewals, Affirmation of Love & Commitment Ceremonies, please call or email for more information on additional services we offer.

Please note that there is a $25 charge for any checks returned due to insufficient funds or stop payment.

Our one time fee of $160 ($140 without a rehearsal) includes your initial consultation, complete ceremony creation, rehearsal (if requested) of course the ceremony itself and final registration of your completed Humboldt County marriage license with the County Clerks Office. We also include a beautiful glossy representation of your personalized vows in print and an even more beautiful marriage certificate worthy of framing, both are presented in a classic black presentation folder for the wedding couple to cherish. We are uniquely positioned to create your memorable ceremony for much less cost than you might expect. We can help create your entire wedding ceremony - or just certain elements of it. Military Discount

Joint Ventures Weddings offers 10% military discounts. All you will need for the discount is your military ID. This is our way of saying thank you for your service to our country.

Deposits

A $50 deposit*** (cash or personal check is fine) is required at the time of booking your ceremony ($75 for elopements) The balance is due (in cash or cashiers check only) 2 weeks before commencement of the ceremony.

Marriage License

A California Marriage license can be purchased in any County in California and can be used for a ceremony in any County in California - However, it has to be filed after the ceremony in the County that it was purchased, which makes it easier for you to get certified copies if need be at a future date. If you are coming from outside of Humboldt County you may want to purchase the license in your hometown/County before you travel and then file it where you purchased it after we have filled it out and signed, when you go home.

Your Marriage License will need to be obtained before your wedding ceremony. In Humboldt County you can get your marriage license at the Humboldt County courthouse, 825 5th Street in Eureka on the 5th floor at the Humboldt County Recorder/Clerks office. You will need to bring your drivers license/photo ID and proof of disolution of a previous marriage if this applies - you will also need to pay in cash.
